What is that plastic stuff you lay down in your yard to prevent weeds?
I’m not sure what it is called, but you lay this plastic sheet down and cover it with dirt prevent weed growth???? ANyone know what it is called and where to get it?
You can lay plastic down as a weed barrier, but I don’t like it. One it prevents excess water from evaporating off the soil, which can be a problem beacuse you are increasing the likelyhood of fungal or milldew growth and or rot.
Look for landscape fabric, it allows water to pass through it making it a lot better in the long run.
Both the plastic and the fabric will break down over time and will need to be replaced.
