Is there any historical accuracy in the film “Gore Vidal’s ‘Lincoln’?”?
I am answering questions in order to write a movie review for my United States History class. One of the questions says: “Evaluate the historical accuracy of the film: What is the film’s bias? What does it reflect about history that is (to your knowledge) accurate? Where may the filmmakers have stretched the story?”
Could someone please help me with this question? I was never enthusiastic about my history classes and I do not know too much about history. 
Then perhaps it’s time you BECAME enthusiastic and and learned some history. Watch the film, read at least what your textbook has to say about Lincoln and make up your mind.
