Water dispenser leaked now unit is shaking violently! Compressor Problem?
Im hoping someone can help me, I have a water dispenser that heats and cools water. Today I had a big leak which I have managed to fix after opening the unit up and replacing the water pipe. All the inside however was soaked.
But now when I switch the power on it starts cooling itself after a few minutes the whole dispsenser is shaking really bad and it seems to almost lose power since the light flickers on and off… The strange thing is I usually have to switch it to COOL before the dispenser starts to COOL the water but even with the switch off it starts the compresser!
It is still abit wet inside could this be the problem?
The HOT works fine only when the compresser starts it shakes really bad.

Yes, don’t use it until it is dried out.
From your description:
The shaking is from something shorting out and turning the compressor on and off. It is shaking hard because as the compressor cuts in and out it is trying to start against pressure and can’t or barely can. That makes them shake.
You run the risk of wrecking it like that beside a little dangerous mixing water and electricity.
Be careful.
