I need to fix my cabinets. Help!!?
I faux painted my cabinets and they look amazing. I love them. However, I have 2 kids and wanted to protect them. Everyone said to polyeurthane them, so I did, in a satin finish. Now I hate them, they are so glossy. Is there any way to strip the poly and seal them with something in a matte or flat finish? Please help!!!
the best solution is to sand them with a fine grit sandpaper. I would use like a 220 or 320 grit. All u need to do is hand scuff the surface so another coat of poly will adhere. refinish with the flat poly and you should get the results your looking for.
