who thinks that paying for plastic shopping bags is a good idea!?
alright, so my mom told me this week that after Christmas we are going to start paying 5 cents for a regular plastic shopping bag. I dont know who else is going to but my mom said us (Newfoundland, Canada) will have to pay. is it just our province or elsewhere in Canada?

Well, just get those nylon web bags and take them to the store all the time with you and then you won’t have to pay unless you forget your bag. That’s where it is all headed anyway. There will still be bags, but all of us will be expected to bring our nylon bags with us to carry our groceries.
In the US they are $1 per bag. You just keep them in your car I guess. And if you don’t have a car then you have to carry them. That’s the future.
