How do Pilots log their hours in the logbook?
Ive never flown but im just curious…How they can 100% know how long they have flown?…do they have a stop watch that they turn on when they taxi..and turn off when they park after landing?
Also..how can you tell if the pilot is honest in logging their hours?…What is the safeguard to prevent a pilot from writing down…instead of flying for 1hr…he flew for 1hr and 30minutes or something?
Or, for aircraft lacking a hobbs, we just use tach time.
