What are the benefits of a large company moving in to a small market town?
For humanities coursework we have to write about a new tescos which is about to be opened into a small market town. We are supposed to be writing a fair argument, with positives and negatives. However every humanities teacher lives in the market town.
Me: Miss what’s the benefit s of the new tescos.
Miss: Well I’m not going to say my opinion, but there aren’t any. It will kill everyone in the town, tescos is evil and it should be destroyed. (okay that’s slightly exaggerated.)
Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.
Whilst it would have an effect on the market and the local shops it would certainly provide more employment in the area.
