How do you address a tall envelope?
I am addressing invitations, and I realized that the envelopes I have are tall and skinny, where the opening is at the top of the tall skinny envelope (they are already addressed with a return address on the flap – which is on the top of the envelope) – My question is, do I turn the envelope to be normal (wider than taller) – and if so which side should the opening be on the back – or do I address it standing up – so the width is skinnier than the height. I know this may be confusing, but best answer (a.s.a.p) would be amazing! 
You can leave the envelope as it normally is, with the opening at the top. It’s ok that it is taller rather than wider. I would especially do this since the back flap is pre-addressed.
